Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (“Beijing Enterprises Water Group”) announced that its board has approved the re-designation of Mr. Li Li from Chief Operating Officer to Group Chief Expert, effective 24 October 2025. This move aligns with the company’s strategic development plans. Mr. Li, who is 60 years old, joined Beijing Enterprises Water Group in October 2010, became an executive director in 2014, and currently chairs the Sustainability Committee.

Mr. Li is a Senior Engineer and qualified Senior Project Manager, with prior roles at design and research institutions and environmental companies. He also holds executive director positions at Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited (Stock Code: 1250) and Beijing Enterprises Urban Resources Group Limited (Stock Code: 3718), both listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

As at the date of the announcement, Mr. Li has a personal interest in 253,708 shares of Beijing Enterprises Water Group, and his total remuneration for the year ended 31 December 2024 amounted to RMB3,587,000. The board stated that it is unaware of other matters requiring disclosure related to Mr. Li’s re-designation, which is subject to standard retirement and re-election procedures at the next annual general meeting. The board also expressed gratitude for Mr. Li’s contributions during his tenure as Chief Operating Officer.
