The inaugural voyage of the Xiamen-Kinmen-Keelung 'Mini Three Links' cross-border e-commerce express shipping route has set sail.

On July 6, the vessel 'Jinxin' loaded with 32 TEUs of cross-border e-commerce goods departed from the Haitian Terminal at Xiamen Port. The ship is scheduled to arrive at the express parcel zone of Keelung Port on the morning of July 7 after stopping at Kinmen.

This new route completes the coverage of Taiwan's four major core ports—Taipei, Keelung, Kaohsiung, and Taichung—by the Xiamen-Kinmen 'Mini Three Links' shipping services. It adds a high-frequency, efficient, and low-cost 'golden logistics channel' for cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, further solidifying Xiamen's position as a core hub for cross-strait maritime express and e-commerce.

The new route adopts a regular 'overnight departure, morning arrival' operational model, with five fixed weekly sailings, marking a significant expansion in shipping capacity.

Leveraging the Xiamen Port & Logistics Silk Road Maritime Cross-Border E-commerce (Dongdu) Consolidation Center within the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, the new route fully utilizes the integrated operational advantages of 'terminal + shipping route + station.' Through efficient resource coordination and precise control of customs clearance processes, it effectively removes bottlenecks in cargo transfer, substantially enhancing the circulation efficiency of cross-strait maritime express shipments.

For businesses across the supply chain, this model directly leads to lower comprehensive logistics costs and improved operational efficiency, providing robust shipping capacity support for the booming demand in cross-strait e-commerce.

With the addition of this new route, the Xiamen Port & Logistics Silk Road Maritime Cross-Border E-commerce (Dongdu) Consolidation Center has established a regular weekly schedule of 17 sailings as the main cross-strait logistics channel. This includes 6 sailings on the 'Three Major Links' routes and an increased frequency of 11 sailings on the 'Mini Three Links' routes.

Through a series of combined measures, including launching new fixed-point routes, increasing service frequency, and deploying dedicated shipping capacity, the two-way cross-strait e-commerce logistics channel has achieved comprehensive capacity expansion and upgrade.

This increasingly mature cross-strait logistics service system is becoming a powerful engine driving deeper integration of industries across the strait.

The rapid launch and efficient operation of this new route benefit from the forward-looking planning and collaborative efforts of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee, Xiamen Customs, Xiamen Municipal Commerce Bureau, Xiamen Port Authority, and other relevant units.
