The positive momentum follows a series of upbeat earnings forecasts from several listed brokerages, which anticipate record-high first-half profits.

Major firms including CITIC Securities, Guotai Junan, Haitong Securities, and China Merchants Securities are projecting net profits attributable to shareholders exceeding 10 billion yuan for the period.

The cited drivers for growth are largely consistent across the announcements, primarily attributed to a stable and improving capital market, sustained high market activity, and significant year-on-year revenue growth in businesses such as wealth management, investment trading, and investment banking.

Analysts point out that as of the close on July 10th, the brokerage sector's price-to-book ratio stood at just 1.20 times, positioning it at a historically low 17.1 percentile over the past decade.

Against the backdrop of consistently active trading and simultaneous improvement in various business revenues, the sector's earnings are expected to maintain their robust growth trajectory.
