China Suntien Green Energy Corporation Limited reported consolidated April 2026 power generation of 1.47 million MWh, a year-on-year decrease of 0.63%. Year-to-date (January–April) generation reached 5.83 million MWh, down 3.25% from the same period in 2025.
Wind power remained the core contributor, supplying 1.43 million MWh in April, 1.20% lower year on year. Solar power output rose 27.08% to 37.79 thousand MWh, mitigating part of the wind decline. Regionally, Hebei delivered 1.07 million MWh in April, up 3.29% and accounting for more than 70% of total wind generation. Guangxi, Yunnan and Xinjiang also posted double-digit growth, while Shanxi, Henan and Hunan experienced the steepest drops.
Cumulative January-April wind generation fell 3.53% to 5.70 million MWh. Solar generation grew 11.90% to 123.59 thousand MWh, supported by a 55.36% surge in Hebei and 41.53% growth in Shaanxi.
Gas operations were considerably weaker. Total transmission and sales volume for April declined 26.32% to 259.43 million cubic meters. Within this, gas sales contracted 31.86% to 226.79 million cubic meters, while the volume transported for third-party clients rose 69.32% to 32.63 million cubic meters.
Segment performance showed: • Wholesale gas sales: 72.34 million cubic meters, down 15.26% • Retail gas sales: 115.13 million cubic meters, down 12.33% • LNG sales: 34.43 million cubic meters, down 69.25% • CNG sales: 4.89 million cubic meters, up 17.76%
For the first four months of 2026, total gas transmission and sales dropped 18.88% to 1.78 billion cubic meters. Gas sales accounted for 1.60 billion cubic meters, down 20.57%, while third-party transport volumes were broadly stable at 0.18 billion cubic meters, slipping 0.17%.
