TCL ELECTRONICS (01070) experienced a significant surge of 13.25% during intraday trading on Monday, following the release of its robust annual financial performance for 2025.

The company reported a 15.4% year-on-year increase in revenue to HK$114.583 billion, with gross profit rising 15.1% to HK$17.900 billion. Net profit attributable to owners grew 41.8% to HK$2.495 billion, while the adjusted figure saw an even stronger increase of 56.5% to HK$2.512 billion. The board also proposed a final cash dividend of HK$0.498 per share, representing a payout ratio of approximately 50% of the adjusted net profit.

Key business segments showed solid growth, with the display business revenue up 9.2%, the internet business revenue increasing 18.3% with a high gross margin of 56.4%, and the photovoltaic business revenue surging 63.6%. These strong financial results across multiple segments are the primary drivers behind the positive investor sentiment and the stock's sharp rise.
