CHANGYOU INT GP releases 2025 ESG report: user base reaches 293 million, sets 10% carbon-intensity cut by FY2032

Changyou International Group’s 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report details solid operating growth alongside new medium-term sustainability targets.

• Operational highlights: Registered users on the Changyou Platform climbed 16.4% year on year to 293.20 million as at 31 December 2025. Total transaction volume in the digital-points alliance business increased 9.8% to RMB269.40 million.

• Climate targets: The Board assumes full ESG oversight and has approved a target to trim greenhouse-gas (GHG) and energy-consumption intensity 10% by FY2032 versus the FY2025 baseline. An internal cross-functional working group monitors progress.

• Emission profile (FY2025): – Total GHG emissions: 105.10 tonnes CO₂e, a 1.0% decline. – Scope 1 emissions fell 40.4% to 5.60 tonnes CO₂e; Scope 2 declined 8.3% to 64.10 tonnes CO₂e. – Scope 3 rose to 35.40 tonnes CO₂e, reflecting expanded data coverage. – Per-employee intensity increased to 2.10 tonnes CO₂e after a reduction in headcount.

• Resource use: – Energy consumption dropped 10.3% to 131.50 MWh. – Water use edged down 1.5% to 2,471.90 m³. – Non-hazardous waste fell 7.8% to 10.70 tonnes; hazardous waste remained negligible.

• Workforce snapshot: Headcount stood at 49 (2024: 60) with a 49% turnover rate. No work-related fatalities or lost-time injuries were recorded.

• Training: 40.8% of staff received training, averaging 1.9 hours per employee.

• Governance: No concluded legal cases related to corruption or other ESG-related non-compliance were reported. Directors completed anti-corruption training.

• Supply chain: 2,136 suppliers were engaged—2,128 in mainland China and eight across Hong Kong, Japan, the United States and Australia—with strict brand-authorisation and quality-control requirements.

• Community initiatives: “Green Monday” plant-based meals and voluntary blood-donation drives continued, reinforcing employee engagement and local health support.

Management states that integrating ESG principles enhances platform resilience and competitiveness while supporting the transition to a low-carbon digital economy. Progress against the newly set intensity-reduction targets will be reviewed semi-annually.
