The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Yabuli Forum was held from March 17 to 19 in Yabuli, Heilongjiang Province. Li Xiaojia, Rotating Chairman of the Yabuli Forum and Founder and Chairman of MicroConnect, reflected on the past 25 years, describing it as the Globalization 1.0 era, which centered around three key themes.

First, embracing the internet. The internet transformed the world into a global village. Second, embracing the genuine dollar-based order. Li noted that over these 25 years, China was integrated into the international system, the core of which is the dominance of the US dollar, leading to interconnected global finance. He stated that through Chinese manufacturing, China exchanged goods for dollars, progressing from standing up to becoming prosperous, and ultimately achieving strength today, all supported by the comprehensive development of Globalization 1.0. Third, embracing Chinese manufacturing. Li mentioned that Chinese manufacturing truly made China the world's factory and later the world's office. It enabled the world to experience a quarter-century of non-inflationary growth, creating a global miracle.

Therefore, he summarized that the core of Globalization 1.0 was "embracing"—moving toward each other. "We integrated into the world, and the world developed together with us."

Looking ahead to the next 25 years as Globalization 2.0, how will it begin? "We must recognize future challenges to identify future opportunities. The core of 1.0 was embracing the internet; today, 2.0 is about embracing AI," he said.
