Fujian Longking Co., Ltd. (600388.SH) announced that the company plans to collaborate with Eve Energy Co., Ltd. to leverage their respective resources and industrial strengths by establishing a joint venture in Shanghang County. The joint venture will invest in the construction of a 60GWh large-capacity energy storage battery plant, focusing on the manufacturing of large-capacity, long-cycle energy storage cells. The total investment for the project is estimated to be 6 billion yuan (the exact amount will be based on actual capital contributions). The joint venture, serving as the implementing entity for the project, will have a registered capital of 900 million yuan. Fujian Longking will contribute 180 million yuan in cash for a 20% stake, while Eve Energy will contribute 720 million yuan in cash for an 80% stake. Future increases in registered capital will be determined based on the joint venture's development needs, with both parties increasing their contributions proportionally according to their equity shares. Fujian Longking's cumulative investment will not exceed 240 million yuan. This external investment aligns deeply with the company's core strategic layout in the new energy industry, enabling it to formally enter the research, development, production, and manufacturing of large-capacity energy storage cells. It will further extend and enhance the company's new energy industry chain, cultivate new profit growth points, and deepen its industrial presence in the new energy sector. Eve Energy is a leading enterprise in the lithium battery industry, possessing strong technological R&D capabilities, mature global market channels, and significant economies of scale. Since 2024, the two companies have established a deeply synergistic system in areas such as energy storage cell technology, production processes, and supply chains. This cooperation will further deepen their industrial integration, enabling comprehensive complementarity in technology, resources, channels, and manufacturing capabilities.
