CGN POWER (01816) announced that its subsidiary, CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., owns Huizhou Units 1 and 2, both utilizing Hualong One technology. The first concrete pouring (FCD) for the reactor buildings of Units 1 and 2 took place on December 26, 2019, and October 15, 2020, respectively, marking the start of full-scale construction. The originally scheduled operational dates were the second half of 2025 for Unit 1 and the first half of 2026 for Unit 2.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, the group has decided to adjust the construction timeline to ensure high-quality commissioning and long-term operational safety. The expected operational dates for Huizhou Units 1 and 2 have been revised to the first half of 2026 and the second half of 2026, respectively.

As of the announcement date, both units are currently in the commissioning phase. The group will continue coordinating resources to enhance safety, quality, schedule, and cost control, ensuring smooth progress in the construction of Huizhou Units 1 and 2.
