PTC Releases FY2026 ESG Report Highlighting Lower Emission Intensity and Strong Governance

Precision Tsugami (China) Corporation Limited (PTC) has issued its FY2026 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, covering the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

The Board of Directors maintains ultimate responsibility for ESG strategy, supported by an Audit Committee of three independent non-executive directors and an ESG working group drawn from core functional departments. The Board approved the report on 29 June 2026, confirming its completeness and accuracy.

Scope and Standards Disclosures encompass PTC, Shinagawa Precision Machinery (Zhejiang) and Precision Tsugami (Anhui), prepared in accordance with Appendix C2 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules.

Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions rose to 20,247.84 tonnes CO₂e, yet intensity fell 11 % to 1.32 tonnes per unit of production. • Energy use edged up to 36,800.89 MWh, while energy intensity dropped 10 % to 2.40 MWh per unit. • Hazardous waste increased to 324.95 tonnes; intensity remained flat at 0.02 tonnes per unit. • Non-hazardous waste reached 3,821.27 tonnes, with intensity down 8 % to 0.25 tonnes per unit. • Water consumption climbed to 94,382 m³ owing to underground pipe leaks, lifting intensity to 6.15 m³ per unit.

Environmental Targets Using FY2026 as baseline, PTC aims by FY2030 to cut air-emission, GHG, waste-generation and energy-consumption intensities by 5 %. The company has already met or exceeded the GHG, non-hazardous waste and energy intensity targets ahead of schedule.

Social Metrics • Workforce totalled 2,429, with a turnover rate of 13.30 %. • Employees received 95,029 training hours, averaging 39.12 hours each. • No work-related fatalities were recorded; 41 injuries resulted in 761 lost days. • PTC reported zero violations of labour, anti-corruption or environmental regulations during the year.

Governance and Ethics PTC operates with a zero-tolerance stance on bribery, extortion, fraud and money laundering. Ten directors and 591 employees completed a combined 1,202 hours of anti-corruption training during the reporting period.

Supply Chain Management The company managed 374 suppliers—371 in mainland China and three in Japan—under a tiered evaluation system that includes environmental-compliance audits and a “multi-source for one material” strategy to bolster resilience.

Community Engagement PTC contributed 16 volunteer hours and RMB 3,600 to community initiatives, including local charity bazaars and blood-donation drives.

Looking Ahead The report confirms alignment with China’s “30-60” carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality goals, and details action plans to expand renewable energy use, enhance waste-reduction programs and strengthen climate-risk assessments across operations.
