Recently, CSSC (Handan) Peric Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the 718th Research Institute under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), successfully delivered its first hybrid hydrogen production system to a company in Qinghai.
The system adopts an ALK-PEM hybrid hydrogen production setup, integrating alkaline (ALK) electrolyzers, proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers, and their respective or shared auxiliary equipment, pipelines, components, and enclosures. This hybrid system is designed to accommodate wide power fluctuations and offers advantages such as low cost, high reliability, and large capacity.
Suitable for multi-scenario renewable energy hydrogen production applications, the system can serve as a replicable and scalable demonstration of hydrogen-based integrated energy solutions. It aligns with China’s strategic goals of "energy revolution and energy self-sufficiency."
