Persistence Resources Group Ltd (Stock Code: 2489) has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 12 December 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Hong Kong. Shareholders will vote on a proposal to change the company’s English name from 「Persistence Resources Group Ltd」 to 「Persistence Gold Group Ltd,」 and its Chinese name from 「集海資源集團有限公司」 to 「集海黃金集團有限公司.」

According to the announcement dated 24 November 2025, the proposal requires both a special resolution at the EGM and approval by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands. Current share certificates will remain valid for trading and registration purposes, and existing shareholders will not be required to exchange them. The company states that the proposed new name represents its up-to-date focus and alignment with its business activities.

Shareholders wishing to vote must ensure their completed documents reach the Hong Kong branch share registrar by 4:30 p.m. on 8 December 2025. The register of members will be closed from 9 December to 12 December 2025 (both days inclusive). The company will file appropriate documents in Hong Kong once the name change takes effect.
