Paliburg Holdings Limited (Paliburg) expects its consolidated net loss attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2026 to contract to about HK$210.00 million, a 65.8% improvement from the HK$613.40 million loss reported in the same period of 2025.
Revenue Drivers and Cost Dynamics • Property development and hotel operations—conducted mainly through listed subsidiary Regal Hotels International Holdings Limited—both delivered year-on-year revenue growth. • Finance costs eased in the wake of lower interest rates, providing additional bottom-line support. • A HK$610.00 million gain was realised from the April 2026 disposal of the Regal Oriental Hotel by Regal Real Estate Investment Trust, a listed vehicle held via Regal.
Operating Performance • Gross profit is projected at HK$528.00 million, up 30.8% from HK$403.80 million a year earlier. • Operating profit before depreciation, finance costs and tax is set to reach HK$613.00 million, reversing a HK$24.70 million loss in the 2025 interim period.
One-Off Charges • Cosmopolitan International Holdings Limited, another listed subsidiary, booked an impairment related to its Xinjiang reforestation and land-grant project following adverse changes in circumstances. The amount of the impairment was not disclosed, but it partially offset the disposal gain. • Depreciation on Hong Kong hotel properties—fully owned and operated within the Group—will total approximately HK$289.00 million (2025: HK$335.40 million), continuing to weigh on reported earnings despite having no cash impact.
Outlook and Disclosure Paliburg is finalising its unaudited condensed consolidated results, scheduled for release on 26 August 2026. Shareholders and investors are advised to refer to the forthcoming announcement for full details.
