On January 5, Bank of Zhengzhou Co., Ltd. announced that it had recently received official approvals from regulatory authorities.

The approvals, namely the "Heibi Financial Regulatory Sub-Bureau Reply No. 44 [2025]" and the "Xuchang Financial Regulatory Sub-Bureau Reply No. 131 [2025]," grant the bank permission to acquire Junxian ZhengYin Rural Bank Co., Ltd. and Yanling ZhengYin Rural Bank Co., Ltd. respectively, and to establish branches in their place.

These new branches will assume all assets, liabilities, business operations, and employees, along with all associated rights and obligations, following the completion of asset and liability verification for the acquired banks.

Bank of Zhengzhou stated that it will strictly adhere to all relevant laws and regulations to finalize the acquisition process.
