The healthcare real estate investment trust LTC Properties has announced it will release its financial results for the second quarter of 2026 after the U.S. market closes on August 5. A conference call and webcast to discuss the second quarter's operational performance will be held at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time on August 6.

This REIT, based in Westlake Village, California, is navigating a pivotal transition from its traditional triple-net lease structure towards a portfolio of senior housing operating properties. In the first quarter, the company reported revenue of $95.41 million, a significant 94.7% increase year-over-year that surpassed market expectations; however, earnings per share of $0.48 fell short of the anticipated $0.53. Core funds from operations per share were $0.69, marking a 6% annual increase, while core funds available for distribution per share grew 3% to $0.72.

During the first quarter, LTC Properties completed $108 million in SHOP acquisitions and converted $26 million of existing properties to the SHOP structure. The second quarter saw an additional $9 million in acquisitions and $32 million in property conversions, with a further $250 million in SHOP acquisitions expected to be finalized. The company is actively exiting skilled nursing facilities and anticipates that by the end of 2026, SHOP will constitute 45% of its total asset value, with triple-net leases declining to 36%.

Management has reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting core FFO per share in the range of $2.75 to $2.79 and core FAD per share between $2.82 and $2.86. Investors will be focused on the progress of the SHOP transition and the integration of newly acquired properties in the second quarter. A replay of the conference call will be available in the investor relations section of the company's website.
