NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC, a leader in artificial intelligence servers, to jointly explore powering next-generation AI data centers using advanced nuclear micro-reactors.

The explosion of AI technology is driving unprecedented growth in data center power demand, which has become a critical bottleneck limiting the expansion of computing capacity. Under the cooperation framework, the two companies plan to integrate micro modular reactor systems, such as the KRONOS MMR currently under development by NANO Nuclear, with SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC's industry-leading AI servers and data center platforms. The goal is to create a self-powered AI infrastructure that is not constrained by the power grid and can provide clean electricity around the clock.

Jay Yu, Chairman of NANO Nuclear, stated, "The AI revolution is fundamentally an energy challenge, and we believe nuclear power is the only scalable solution." He noted that by combining SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC's hardware ecosystem, the two parties aim to achieve vertical integration of "computing + power." SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC will be able to leverage this collaboration to offer its global data center customers a one-stop, off-grid green energy solution.

This non-binding memorandum paves the way for a potential definitive agreement in the future. If the collaboration materializes, it could overcome the current challenges of grid load and carbon emissions constraints facing AI deployment, establishing a new paradigm for data center construction.
