On April 13, Huawei introduced its AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center) solution at the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (InnoEX). The company stated that it aims to build a secure, reliable, flexible, agile, and green computing infrastructure for Hong Kong's intelligent computing scenarios by leveraging high-reliability products, full lifecycle services, and professional consulting and design capabilities. Huawei plans to redesign four core areas—power supply, cooling, energy storage, and operations—to achieve the goal of "generating more tokens per watt."

AIDC Full-Chain Power Supply: Through innovations spanning from the grid to the chip level, Huawei has productized the power supply chain to deliver a high-density, high-efficiency, and highly reliable integrated Power POD solution, enabling rapid deployment of AIDC.

AIDC Full-Chain Cooling: By innovating across the entire cooling system from chips to the outdoors, the cooling chain has been productized to create an efficient, reliable, and intelligent integrated IT POD solution, ensuring high-efficiency and high-reliability heat dissipation for AIDC.

Intelligent Operations: AI technology enhances data center operations, improving both security and energy efficiency throughout the lifecycle. AI for security enables predictive maintenance through fault prediction and identification, shifting from reactive responses to proactive management. Energy saving is achieved through intelligent coordination between cooling and power systems, optimizing operations to reduce energy consumption.

Zhang Fan, Marketing and Solution Sales General Manager of Huawei's Data Center Energy and Critical Power Supply, emphasized that computing power is equivalent to productivity in the era of intelligent computing. He noted that Huawei's AIDC solution not only incorporates extensive experience in data center construction but also serves as a key platform for collaborative ecosystem success. Huawei will continue to lead innovation in next-generation intelligent computing center power and cooling architectures, grounded in technological advancement, ensuring reliability and safety at every step, and supporting Hong Kong in building intelligent computing centers that offer rapid deployment, comprehensive reliability, optimal total cost of ownership, and flexibility.

Pan Guoying, Director of the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, commented that while AI can develop rapidly, energy efficiency must improve simultaneously. He stressed that computing power can continue to grow, but the development model must be green and sustainable. Only with efficient energy management and sound regulation can Hong Kong's data center and AI industries achieve long-term healthy growth, fostering the parallel development of "green AI" and "green data centers."
