Top Performing Categories and Brands
Home appliances, consumer electronics, and home goods emerged as the three fastest-growing product categories during this year's Joybuy Summer Black Friday. Among brands, Midea, Apple, TCL, Samsung, and De'Longhi ranked as the top five most popular. The top five best-selling digital products were Apple AirPods, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Nintendo Switch, the Sony PS5, and the Anycubic 3D printer.
Logistics and Service Performance
Order volumes continued to climb throughout the event, with Joybuy's "211 Express Delivery" fulfillment rate maintaining a level of 99%. Leveraging its self-built European warehousing and logistics network, Joybuy's 211 service now covers over 30 major European cities, including London and Birmingham in the UK, Paris in France, Cologne and Düsseldorf in Germany, and Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. This network enables same-day delivery for over 40 million consumers.
Rising Demand for Comprehensive Services
Concurrently, consumer demand for efficient and convenient all-in-one services saw a significant increase. Orders for major appliances that included combined delivery and installation services surged by 396% compared to the previous period.
Heatwave Drives Sales of Cooling Products
During the European heatwave from June 19th to 25th, sales of air conditioning products on the Joybuy platform skyrocketed, increasing nearly 40-fold compared to the first week of June. Sales of Midea's PortaSplit portable air conditioners rose nearly 42 times, floor fans saw an increase of over 80 times, and neck fans grew by more than 120 times. Other cooling and sun protection products, such as ice cream, cooling blankets, ice makers, soda makers, sunscreen, and sun hats, also experienced rapid growth. Joybuy data indicates that through various promotional activities during the Summer Black Friday, the platform provided European consumers with millions of euros in savings on cooling-related purchases.
