Bank of China Limited (3988) announced that it has received a resignation letter from Mr. Zhuo Chengwen, who will step down as Secretary to the Board of Directors and Company Secretary effective 30 October 2025. The resignation is due to a change of job.

Mr. Zhuo will continue to serve in the Bank and its controlled subsidiaries, assuming the position of Chairman of BOC Aviation Limited. He has confirmed no disagreement with the Board and that there are no matters requiring attention from the shareholders. The handover process has been concluded according to relevant requirements.

The Board expressed appreciation for Mr. Zhuo’s contributions during his tenure.
