Top Standard Corporation announced a further one-week delay in issuing its shareholder circular related to the proposed subscription of new shares and connected transactions.
Originally slated for distribution on or before 7 August 2026, the circular is now expected to be dispatched no later than 14 August 2026. The company cites the need for additional time to finalise the information contained in the document.
The forthcoming circular will provide: 1. Comprehensive terms of the planned share subscription. 2. A recommendation from the Independent Board Committee to independent shareholders regarding the connected transactions. 3. An advisory letter from the independent financial adviser addressing the same matters. 4. A notice convening the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and the related proxy form.
This marks the fifth update following announcements on 1 June, 26 June, 10 July, 24 July and 31 July 2026 concerning the transaction timeline. The board, chaired by Mr Chuk Stanley, has affirmed that all information disclosed to date is accurate and complete.
The notice will remain available on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s “Latest Company Announcements” page and on Top Standard’s corporate website for at least seven days from 7 August 2026.
