On Monday, all three major U.S. stock indices closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also rose, closing at 27,080.64 points on a proportional basis, up 53.48 points or 0.2% from the Hong Kong market close. Most major blue-chip stocks advanced. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 141.801, up 1.8% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings ended at HKD 561.139, rising 0.2% compared to its Hong Kong session close.
