Cosco Shipping Holdings (01919) announced that, in accordance with the company's articles of association, the board of directors has proposed the election and re-election of members for the eighth board. The nominations are as follows: (i) Mr. Wan Min has been nominated for re-election as an executive director and recommended as a candidate for chairman; (ii) Mr. Zhang Feng has been nominated for re-election as an executive director and recommended as a candidate for vice chairman; (iii) Mr. Tao Weidong, Mr. Zhu Tao, and Mr. Xu Feipan have been nominated for re-election as executive directors; (iv) Mr. Wu Heng has been nominated for election as a non-executive director; (v) Professor Ma Shiheng, Mr. Shen Dou, and Ms. Xi Zhiyue have been nominated for re-election as independent non-executive directors; and (vi) Mr. Fan Junhua has been nominated for election as an independent non-executive director. The proposed appointments will be submitted for approval via an ordinary resolution at the annual general meeting of shareholders. Upon shareholder approval, the appointments will take effect on July 1, 2026, with terms lasting three years from that date.
