On the morning of March 10, Tencent CodeBuddy released an apology statement acknowledging that a surge in user traffic had caused login and service instability, which has now been fully resolved. All services have been restored to stable operation, and users can log in and access all features normally.

Tencent stated that the disruption occurred because user visits to WorkBuddy (Tencent's version of "Little Lobster") following its public beta launch in China far exceeded expectations, placing instantaneous excessive pressure on core services. The company expressed deep regret for any inconvenience caused. After the issue was detected, the technical team immediately implemented an emergency tenfold expansion of server capacity.

To sincerely thank every user for their enthusiastic support and patience, Tencent is offering a one-time credit of 5,000 Credits to all new and existing domestic users, valid until March 31, 2026.

Previously, Tencent's full-scenario AI agent WorkBuddy was officially launched, featuring over 20 built-in Skills packages and support for the MCP protocol. The domestic version of WorkBuddy allows seamless switching between AI models including Hunyuan, DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, and MiniMax.
