Registration for the written and oral components of the National College English Test Band 4 and 6 (CET) in Heilongjiang Province for the first half of 2026 will commence shortly. The following details outline the registration process.

1. Exam Subjects and Schedule The written exam (CET) is scheduled for June 13, 2026. Subjects offered include English Band 4 and Band 6, as well as Band 4 and Band 6 tests in Japanese, German, and Russian, plus a Band 4 test in French. The oral exam (CET-SET) will be held on May 23 and 24, 2026. English Band 4 oral tests will take place on May 23, and English Band 6 oral tests on May 24. Specific session arrangements will be provided.

2. Registration Eligibility Eligible candidates must be full-time undergraduate or vocational college students, or enrolled postgraduate students at regular or adult higher education institutions. Students who have completed the Band 4 English curriculum may register for the Band 4 test. Those who have completed the Band 6 English curriculum and achieved a score of 425 or higher on the Band 4 test are eligible for the Band 6 test. For Japanese, German, or Russian Band 6 tests, there is no requirement for a previous Band 4 score in the corresponding language. Candidates wishing to take the oral exam must first complete registration for the corresponding written test. For example, registration for the Band 4 written test (CET4) is required before applying for the Band 4 oral test (CET-SET4). Oral exam candidates must register at their own institution's test center and cannot register at other schools. Disabled candidates requiring reasonable accommodations during the exam must submit an application to their institution's academic affairs office before the registration deadline.

3. Registration Period Registration will be conducted online through a centralized national system. Candidates must complete registration and payment between 10:00 AM on March 17 and 5:00 PM on April 2, 2026. 4. Registration Fees The fee for the CET4 exam is 35 RMB per session. For the CET6 and minor language tests, the fee is 37 RMB per session. The oral exam (CET-SET) fee is 50 RMB per session. Online payment is required during the registration process.

Score Reports In line with green, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly development principles, and to advance the digital transformation of educational assessments, paper score reports for the CET will be discontinued starting from the first half of 2026. Within 10 working days after scores are released, candidates can log in to the China Education Examinations website (www.neea.edu.cn) to view and download electronic score reports. These electronic reports hold the same validity as the original paper versions.
