The 2026 BYD Qin L DM-i has been officially launched, offering two variants—the 128KM Base and 128KM Premium—with an official guide price of 96,800-106,800 yuan. Buyers who complete purchase and invoicing before November 30, 2025, will receive a limited-time unconditional exchange subsidy of 4,000 yuan, reducing the final price to 92,800-102,800 yuan.

As a best-seller in the mid-size sedan market, the 2026 Qin L DM-i features a 128km pure electric range and ultra-low fuel consumption of 2.79L per 100km. New additions include the Weiyang Gray exterior color and a shift-by-wire system, along with advanced driver-assistance features and a smart cockpit, emphasizing efficiency, extended range, and intelligence.

Market research indicates that most plug-in hybrid users prefer electric driving for daily commutes. To meet this demand, the 2026 Qin L DM-i starts with an extended pure electric range, upgraded from 80km to 128km—enough for a week’s commute on a single charge. With home charging, daily travel costs can be lower than public transit.

Beyond the increased electric range, the 2026 model boasts a combined range of 2,148km on a full tank and full charge, eliminating the need for refueling stops on long trips and avoiding holiday service station queues.

Since February, the Qin L DM-i has introduced advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to the sub-100,000-yuan mid-size sedan segment. Features include highway assist for speed control and lane-keeping, automated overtaking, and ramp navigation to reduce driver fatigue. Its smart parking system supports over 300 scenarios, handling vertical, parallel, diagonal, and unmarked spaces with ease.

The 2026 upgrade adds traffic efficiency prioritization, risky cut-in alerts, and enhanced parking aids like front-entry, rear-exit, and offset parking. An external voice alert also enhances safety during parking maneuvers.
