The 2025 New Automotive Cooperation Ecosystem Exchange was held in Suzhou from December 5 to 6. Zhang Min, Deputy General Manager of Geely Auto Group's Supply Chain Management Center, emphasized that the high-quality development of the automotive industry—a sector with vast scale and long evolution cycles—relies on collaborative symbiosis across the entire industry.

Zhang proposed that in common areas such as technical standards, fundamental R&D, green and low-carbon initiatives, and supply chain resilience, Geely adheres to a philosophy of co-creation and sharing with industry partners. By deepening cooperation and consolidating industrial synergy, the industry can tackle shared challenges and reduce overall innovation costs and development barriers. However, he also stressed that automakers should focus on their core businesses, dedicating efforts to product innovation and service upgrades. Leveraging their unique resources, companies should build differentiated competitive advantages to earn consumer trust.

Zhang further highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy competitive environment, where competition drives technological iteration, product enhancement, and service improvements. He noted that global expansion is a critical path for China's automotive industry to transition from scale to strength. Geely will continue collaborating with peers in global R&D coordination, localization efforts, and cross-border logistics to mitigate risks from single-market dependence and enhance global operational resilience.

Most importantly, Zhang urged the industry to move beyond low-level price wars, instead competing through technological innovation, quality upgrades, and service excellence to earn global market respect.
