Chalkis Longevity Science (ASX: 00767) has announced that on July 7, 2026, following trading hours, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chalkis Health Industry Co.,Ltd., entered into a memorandum of cooperation with Shenzhen Zhongtou Huijin Fund Management Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Zhongtou).
The planned collaboration involves the joint establishment of a dedicated health industry merger and acquisition fund, structured as a limited partnership, with a proposed total size of RMB 10 billion. The fund is intended to be raised in phases, with approximately RMB 2 billion in the first phase, RMB 3 billion in the second, and RMB 5 billion in the third.
This specialized M&A fund will focus its investments in entities operating within the longevity science, cell industry, longevity and anti-aging biopharmaceuticals, and high-end health management sectors. Shenzhen Zhongtou will be responsible for overseeing the fund's capital raising, investment activities, and management.
Shenzhen Zhongtou is a limited liability company established in China in 2001. It is a registered private fund manager with the Asset Management Association of China and primarily conducts private fund business under existing Chinese regulations, specializing in public market securities investment and primary/secondary equity investments.
Shenzhen Zhongtou has established and participates in the operation of similar industry funds across multiple provinces in China, including government development funds, industrial guidance funds, and listed company M&A funds. The firm currently manages or participates in managing funds with a total size of approximately RMB 100 billion, with intended signed fund scale reaching around RMB 1.2 trillion.
