Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, expressed in a recent interaction on social media platform X that he is confident that the Starship spacecraft will eventually transport humans to Mars.

In a post, Musk stated, “I believe the Starship will take humans to Mars. The path is clear. However, what truly matters is ensuring the future of consciousness, rather than just sending a small group of people to Mars. This may require transporting over 100,000 people and a million tons of cargo to Mars. A crucial threshold to overcome is that Mars must be able to grow, even if the supply ships from Earth stop arriving for any reason.”
