A new artificial intelligence company named "Tomorrow's Journey" (Nextie), established by the former core team behind Microsoft's Xiaoice, has successfully closed two consecutive rounds of financing. This latest investment was co-led by Sinovation Ventures, with existing investor Qiji Venture participating in the follow-on investment.

Tomorrow's Journey was founded by Li Di, the former Vice President of Microsoft's Asia Internet Engineering Academy, along with the original Xiaoice founding team. The company made its first public appearance during the Qiji Venture 2025 Fall Demo Day.

According to informed sources, the funds raised will cover the company's operational and development needs for the next three to five years. Moving forward, the company plans to focus on the "Harness" multi-agent systems domain.

At present, Tomorrow's Journey's product portfolio is divided into two main segments. Its Reactive problem-solving product, tuanzi.ai, has already completed internal testing. Meanwhile, an application designed for Proactive scenarios is reportedly nearing the end of its development cycle. The core concept of this app is similar to "Xiaoice Island," enabling users to effortlessly create a group of personalized intelligent agents. These agents operate with a high degree of autonomy and collaboration to meet users' professional and personal needs. If a user already has their own "Lobster" (an intelligent agent), they can simply instruct it to join this group of agents.
