General Mills (NYSE:GIS) reported quarterly earnings of $1.40 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.22 by 14.75 percent. This is a 12 percent increase over earnings of $1.25 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $5.24 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $5.14 billion by 1.94 percent. This is a 1.97 percent increase over sales of $5.14 billion the same period last year.
