Uxin, a used car retailer, has announced a strategic partnership with the Nan'an District of Chongqing and the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The collaboration will involve a joint investment to operate a Uxin used car warehouse factory store at the Yinglong Innovation Port. This project integrates a used car remanufacturing facility with a one-stop retail superstore, marking another significant expansion in Uxin's national network.

The facility is designed to accommodate the display and sale of up to 5,000 used cars. The first phase of the project is expected to be operational by 2026. The superstore will be fully operated by Uxin, covering the entire process from vehicle acquisition, inspection, and reconditioning to sales, title transfer, insurance, and financing. This creates a warehouse-style business model that combines vehicle preparation with retail services.

Prior to this, Uxin has already established similar warehouse superstore projects in six cities including Xi'an, Hefei, and Wuhan, achieving standardized replication of its Uxin used car warehouse factory store format across the country. The launch of the Chongqing location will further enhance the company's strategic footprint in the southwestern region. It is expected to synergize effectively with Uxin's existing national store network, strengthening service coverage in key western markets.

With a solid foundation in automotive consumption and an active used car circulation market, Chongqing is a crucial strategic city for Uxin's superstore deployment in the southwest. Leveraging Chongqing's robust industrial base and policy support, Uxin aims to provide consumers with higher-quality, more trustworthy one-stop used car purchasing experiences. This move is also intended to support the comprehensive upgrade of Chongqing's used car industry towards greater standardization and quality enhancement.
