Blue Moon Group expects H1 2026 net loss to shrink by at least 55% on efficiency and channel gains

Blue Moon Group Holdings Limited announced that preliminary, unaudited figures indicate its consolidated loss attributable to equity holders for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will decline by no less than 55% from the HK$435.30 million loss recorded in the prior-year period. The implied interim loss is therefore expected to be no greater than approximately HK$195.89 million.

Management attributes the improvement to three core initiatives:

1. Operational efficiency: Ongoing streamlining of business processes and tighter allocation of organisational resources reduced redundant expenditure and lowered the sales-and-distribution expense ratio.

2. Higher marketing ROI: A “knowledge-based marketing” approach—highlighted by campaigns such as “Supreme Clean Journey” and “Liuda Festival”—supported launches of the Supreme Concentrated Laundry Detergent and JingXiang Foaming Body Wash lines while optimising marketing spend efficiency.

3. Broader channel reach: Expansion of offline distribution, investment in emerging e-commerce platforms and youth-focused promotional strategies widened brand coverage and drove steady new-customer growth.

Looking ahead, the group plans to deepen its knowledge-based marketing system, strengthen differentiated product lines under the Supreme and JingXiang series, and continue reallocating resources toward technology and R&D to sustain profitability and enhance shareholder returns, subject to market conditions. Audited interim results are scheduled for release on or before 31 August 2026. Investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
