On September 24th, A-shares opened lower before recovering with oscillating gains. The three major indices briefly turned positive collectively before diverging, with the ChiNext falling 0.5%. Semiconductor stocks rallied, with Tongfu Microelectronics and Leone Technologies hitting daily limits. Memory chip concept stocks remained active while AI hardware stocks saw collective adjustments. Hong Kong stocks fluctuated higher in early trading, with both the Hang Seng Index and Hang Seng Tech Index posting gains as tech stocks rebounded. In the bond market, government bond futures declined. On the commodity front, domestic commodity futures mostly rose, with the shipping index surging over 5%.

A-shares: As of press time, the Shanghai Composite gained 0.23%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.16%, and the ChiNext Index dropped 0.41%.

Hong Kong stocks: As of press time, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.31% and the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.30%.

Bond market: Government bond futures declined across the board. As of press time, the 30-year main contract fell 0.26%, the 10-year main contract dropped 0.02%, the 5-year main contract declined 0.01%, and the 2-year main contract remained flat.

Commodities: Domestic commodity futures mostly rose. As of press time, the shipping index gained over 5%, fuel oil rose 4%, glass and coking coal advanced over 1%, while asphalt, coke, polysilicon, gold, and rubber moved higher. Hot-rolled coil, iron ore, and rebar declined, with caustic soda and soybean meal falling nearly 1%.

Overnight, major US tech stocks collectively retreated, with CPO, PCB, and AI computing concept stocks declining across the board. Retail and tourism sectors continued their decline, while oil and precious metals rose, and nuclear power sectors performed actively. Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals hit the daily limit up after signing a supply agreement worth no less than 3 billion yuan with a Brazilian company.

09:21 The Hang Seng Index opened down 0.33% at 26,073.69 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.54%. Baidu dropped nearly 5%, Tencent Music Entertainment fell nearly 3%, while Kuaishou, BYD Company, and Horizon Robotics declined over 1%.
