DATANG POWER (00991) announced that as of March 31, 2026, the company and its subsidiaries had delivered approximately 62.4091 billion kWh of electricity to the grid, representing an increase of about 3.46% compared to the same period last year. The primary reasons for the change in grid electricity volume during the first quarter of 2026 include increased overall electricity consumption across society, year-on-year growth in gas-fired power generation capacity, and better water inflow conditions for hydroelectric units in the company's operational regions such as Chongqing and Yunnan compared to the same period. These factors contributed to a significant rise in electricity generation from both gas-fired and hydroelectric sources, effectively boosting the company's total electricity output. As of March 31, 2026, the company's average grid electricity price was approximately RMB 438.78 per MWh (including tax), down about 4.8% year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of electricity traded through market-based mechanisms amounted to about 51.054 billion kWh, accounting for approximately 81.81% of the total. As of March 31, 2026, the company's total installed capacity reached 85.8 GW, comprising 48.7 GW of coal-fired thermal power, 9.47938 GW of gas-fired thermal power, 9.20473 GW of hydropower, 11.2 GW of wind power, and 7.185375 GW of photovoltaic power.
