Singapore, Sep, 24 2026 – Ally Logistic Property (ALP) and CapitaLand Investment Limited (9CI) have broken ground on OMEGA 1 Singapore, a 260 million Singapore dollars integrated logistics development that will combine industrial real estate, shared automation and digital systems.

The five-storey facility at 19 Gul Lane is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2028. It will offer about 71,000 sq m of gross floor area, including more than 51,000 sq m for logistics operations and an automated storage and retrieval system with over 65,000 pallet positions.

OMEGA 1 Singapore is the first local deployment of ALP’s OMEGA platform, which links infrastructure, automation, proprietary software and AI-enabled tools to help tenants improve fulfilment speed and operational visibility while easing labour constraints. The asset is held under CapitaLand Southeast Asia Logistics Fund.

ALP chief executive Charlie Chang said the project marks an important step in giving companies a scalable path to automation and operational resilience. Patricia Goh, CEO, Southeast Asia and Global Head, Logistics & Self-Storage at CapitaLand Investment, added that technology-enabled logistics assets are in rising demand across Asia-Pacific amid labour shortages and e-commerce growth.

JTC Corporation chief executive Jacqueline Poh noted the project’s role in supporting land optimisation and technology adoption in Singapore’s logistics sector, while Economic Development Board executive vice-president Ho Weng Si said it underlines confidence in the city-state’s logistics ecosystem.

ALP plans to replicate the OMEGA model across regional markets, with facilities already operating or under development in Malaysia and Thailand.
