NVIDIA has drawn significant attention this week as Wedbush indicated that recent surveys show a 10:1 supply-to-demand ratio for the company's chips ahead of its earnings report scheduled for August 27. Wedbush analysts wrote in a client report: "When NVIDIA reports earnings after the close on Wednesday, the tech world and Wall Street will hang on every word from Jensen Huang - based on our boots-on-the-ground checks in Asia, we continue to believe the supply/demand for NVIDIA's golden chips remains at a 10:1 ratio."
Analysts generally expect NVIDIA to report earnings per share of $1.01 and revenue of $46 billion.
