Singapore Airlines has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Jakarta on September 7, following the eruption of Mount Anak Krakatoa in Indonesia.

The airline cited the volcanic activity as the reason for the disruption, confirming the move in a post on its official Facebook page. In addition to the September 7 cancellations, one flight scheduled for September 8 has also been axed.

Given the rapidly evolving situation, SIA warned that other flights connecting Singapore and Indonesia could face further disruptions, advising passengers to monitor updates closely.
