China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (00916) has announced that on March 31, 2026, its subsidiary, Inner Mongolia Longyuan, entered into a Share Transfer Agreement with Guohua Investment. Under this agreement, Inner Mongolia Longyuan has conditionally agreed to acquire a 51% equity stake in the target company, Guohua Cangzhou, from Guohua Investment for a consideration of approximately RMB 33.9408 million.
This transaction is intended to facilitate the company's advancement of a large-scale wind and solar base electricity-hydrogen synergy pilot project. It will help expand the company's business presence in the new energy and strategic emerging industries sector, enhance its core competitiveness, and continuously foster new drivers for development.
It is reported that Guohua Cangzhou is responsible for the overall development and construction of the "Cangzhou Green Port Hydrogen City" project. This project comprises two main components: new energy and green hydrogen/green ammonia. The new energy segment currently involves the planned construction of photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 1.09 gigawatts, which have already been connected to the grid and are operational. The green hydrogen and green ammonia segment plans to develop a flexible green ammonia management and control system and conduct demonstration and verification of grid-connected green hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis. The initial phase involves the construction of 22 sets of 1,000 normal cubic meters per hour and 2 sets of 2,000 normal cubic meters per hour alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production systems. The expected annual hydrogen production capacity is 14,000 tons, with an annual ammonia synthesis capacity of 50,000 tons. This part of the project is currently under construction. The project has been included in the national list of green and low-carbon advanced technology demonstration projects.
