On January 31, the "Jishu" data large model (LimiX), jointly developed by Tsinghua University and Wenzhun Intelligent (Xiong'an) Technology Co., Ltd., was launched in Xiong'an. This is the country's first general-purpose large model for structured data, demonstrating significant performance advantages in multiple international benchmark tests. Wenzhun Intelligent moved into the Xiong'an Science Park in late 2024. "While language large models like ChatGPT excel at processing various texts, data large models like 'Jishu' handle structured data such as tables, time series, and graphs, which represents an untapped market niche," explained Zhang Tianyang, Co-CEO of Wenzhun Intelligent. The artificial intelligence industry in Xiong'an is rapidly accelerating from being a follower to a leader. On June 10, 2025, the Xiong'an Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, led by world-renowned scientist and academician Yao Qizhi, was inaugurated, and the Xiong'an Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park commenced operations. On the morning of February 9, inside the facility of Lanjian Hongqing (Xiong'an) Space Technology Co., Ltd., the project team for the first "Xiong'an-made" satellite, "Xiong'an-1," was conducting full payload chain tests and other preparatory work for the satellite's final delivery. The company, which settled in the Xiong'an Science Park last year, focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of low-orbit broadband communication satellites. Led by China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd., the Xiong'an New Area has now gathered over 60 enterprises in the aerospace information field, forming its first relatively complete primary innovation chain. On February 6, inside the Xiong'an Center of the National Stem Cell Engineering Technology Research Center, Executive Director Zhang Yingchi was observing the growth state of mesenchymal stem cells under a confocal laser scanning microscope on the public experimental platform.
