CMOC Group Limited expects to post net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB15.50 billion–RMB16.50 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, up 78.76%–90.29% from the prior-year period, according to its positive profit alert filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

After stripping out non-recurring items, attributable net profit is projected at RMB15.00 billion–RMB16.00 billion, marking year-on-year growth of 71.94%–83.40%.

Operationally, copper metal output reached about 388 thousand tonnes in the first half, an increase of 9.73% from a year earlier, underscoring the benefits of rising scale efficiencies.

Management attributed the earnings expansion to: • Higher sales volumes and selling prices for copper products; • A sharp rise in molybdenum and tungsten prices; • The consolidation of the group’s gold-mining operations in Brazil.

The announced figures are based on unaudited management accounts; full interim results will be released in the company’s 2026 interim report. CMOC advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when trading its shares.
