SUNNY OPTICAL (02382) announced that in August 2025, mobile phone lens shipments totaled approximately 115 million units, representing a 17% increase month-on-month and a 7.1% decrease year-on-year. Automotive lens shipments reached 10.067 million units, declining 11.3% month-on-month but rising 19.3% year-on-year. Mobile phone camera module shipments were 42.103 million units, down 1.2% month-on-month and up 6.3% year-on-year.

The 17.0% month-on-month increase in mobile phone lens shipments was primarily attributed to improved demand from clients. The 19.3% year-on-year growth in automotive lens shipments was mainly due to increased client demand, while the 11.3% month-on-month decline was primarily because some products were delayed to the following month at clients' request.
