Emerging Market ETFs Listed in the US See Capital Inflows

Investors have returned capital to US-listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that focus on emerging market equities and bonds over the past week. The largest inflows were directed towards funds targeting South Korea.

Data shows that for the week ending June 18th, US-listed emerging market ETFs, which invest across multiple developing nations or in specific countries, saw total inflows of $2.16 billion. This marks a reversal from the previous week, which recorded outflows of $1.62 billion. Year-to-date, total inflows for these funds stand at $41.4 billion.

Breaking down the inflows by market, South Korea attracted the largest amount at $993.6 million, led by funds like the iShares MSCI South Korea ETF.
