LANDSEA LIFE Publishes 2025 ESG Report, Highlighting Lower Carbon Footprint and Employee Engagement Gains

LANDSEA LIFE (HK: 01965) released its sixth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, covering the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025. The document presents new quantitative progress in emissions control, resource efficiency and human-capital development across 184 managed projects in 34 mainland cities.

• Emissions and Energy – Total Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions reached 14,409.21 tCO₂e, up 16.59% year-on-year, translating to 0.15 tCO₂e per m² of managed GFA. – Comprehensive energy consumption rose to 26.59 million kWh, or 276.85 kWh per m². Electricity usage accounted for 99.67% of the total. – Gasoline and diesel consumption totalled 4,786 L and 2,100 L, respectively. Natural-gas use was 2,200 m³ after full-year rollout of central-kitchen services.

• Water and Waste – Water intake amounted to 169,614 m³, or 1.77 m³ per m². – Non-hazardous waste generated was 16.69 million tonnes, with a 0.02% recycling rate, while hazardous waste totalled 75 tonnes.

• Supply-Chain Oversight – The company evaluated 288 suppliers on environmental, labour and ethical criteria; 279 met all ESG requirements. – 100% of suppliers signed integrity and anti-bribery agreements.

• Workforce Indicators – Total headcount fell to 2,711 (-10.50%), with women representing 42.6% of staff and 34.7% of middle-and-senior management. – Employee-turnover rate dropped to 25.91%, down 3.70 ppts from 2024. – Training coverage reached 76.98%, averaging 9.82 hours per employee; anti-corruption training achieved 100% coverage.

• Community Investment – Hours of community cultural and sports activities stood at 5,879, engaging 84,783 participants. – Social-welfare spending climbed to RMB 4.41 million, while volunteer service hours totalled 1,124.

• Governance and Compliance – No incidents of corruption, environmental violations or litigation were recorded during the year. – The board met four times, deliberating 119 agenda items covering information disclosure, risk management and ESG strategy.

Management reiterated its “green, open, win-win” supply-chain policy and confirmed continued alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. The report remains the sole ESG disclosure source for LANDSEA LIFE’s 2025 fiscal year and aligns with HKEX Appendix C2 reporting code.
