Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China announced the designation of national training bases for the 48th WorldSkills Competition. CHINA EAST EDU (00667.HK) has once again received national recognition—Anhui New Oriental Culinary Advanced Technical School was selected as the national training base for the Cooking (Western Cuisine) category, while Ningxia New Oriental Technical School was reappointed as the base for Sugar Art/Pastry Making. Additionally, seven students from CHINA EAST EDU have earned spots in the Chinese national training team for the 48th WorldSkills Competition, preparing to compete on the highest stage known as the "Olympics of Skills."
The WorldSkills Competition is the most prestigious, large-scale, and influential vocational skills event globally, representing the pinnacle of skill development across various fields. The selection criteria for national training bases are rigorous, requiring comprehensive evaluation of an institution’s overall strength, professional expertise, training facilities, and past competition achievements. This recognition serves as authoritative validation of CHINA EAST EDU’s educational capabilities and talent development quality.
This achievement holds special significance for the two schools. For Anhui New Oriental Culinary Advanced Technical School, this marks a historic milestone—the first time a national training base for Cooking (Western Cuisine) has been established in Anhui Province and at the school, signifying its leading position in Western culinary education. Meanwhile, Ningxia New Oriental Technical School has successfully defended its title, securing the Sugar Art/Pastry Making base for the second consecutive time, showcasing its sustained excellence in the field.
Among the seven CHINA EAST EDU students selected for the national team, their expertise spans five categories: Cooking (Western Cuisine), 3D Digital Game Art, Sugar Art/Pastry Making, Beauty Therapy, and Hairdressing. Notably, Yang Xiaojian, Xie Lianghao, and Wang Tianxiang have been selected for two consecutive competitions, demonstrating their exceptional and consistent skills in this highly competitive arena.
The consistent success stems from CHINA EAST EDU’s unique "Five-Education Integration, Competition-Teaching Synergy" talent development system. This framework combines industry standards, competition rules, and daily teaching, incorporating real competition scenarios and cutting-edge technologies into the classroom to prepare students for industry demands. The group has established a progressive training model—"Foundation-Enhancement-Competition"—supported by industry-leading training facilities, providing personalized growth paths and practical environments to systematically cultivate high-caliber skilled professionals.
From seven students advancing to the national team to two schools being honored as national training bases, CHINA EAST EDU’s achievements in vocational skills competitions reflect its long-term commitment to high standards and quality development. As the 2026 WorldSkills Competition approaches, CHINA EAST EDU’s training bases will serve as crucial incubators for China’s skilled talents aiming for global excellence.
With a dedication to skill mastery and craftsmanship, CHINA EAST EDU will continue to deepen educational reforms, striving to nurture more high-quality technical talents and contribute to the advancement of vocational education and China’s success on the world stage.
