Training Program for Green Drone Technology in Grain Production Announced
According to the "Notice on the 2026 Advanced Training Program (Urgently Needed Talent Training Program) for Shanghai's Professional and Technical Personnel Knowledge Update Project" (Document No. [2026]129 of the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau), a specialized training session titled "Urgently Needed Talent Training Program for Green Prevention and Control Technology Using Drones During Critical Grain Periods" has been included in this year's plan. The program, organized by the Shanghai Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, aims to enhance the skills of professional personnel in crop pest control, intelligent drone applications, and agricultural digital technologies in Shanghai. Target Participants
The training is open to scientific and technical personnel engaged in field crop protection in districts and townships, plant protection staff from cooperatives, and specialized personnel providing unified pest control services.

Training Methodology
Following the principles of high-level, small-scale, and feature-focused training, the program will combine thematic lectures with on-site instruction. Experts in grain cultivation, plant protection, and pesticides from municipal and district levels, as well as professional drone operation coaches, will be invited to deliver the training.

The training location is No. 580 Qingkun Road, Qingpu District.
Registration Method
Relevant units should confirm participants and complete registration before 5:00 PM on August 25, 2026. After successful registration, applicants can check their registration status within the system. A total of 60 participants will be recruited on a merit-based selection process until all spots are filled.
Other Matters
Participants who complete the required courses and pass both the assessment and attendance checks will receive 32 academic hours. Certificates of hours can be downloaded from the "Shanghai Professional and Technical Personnel Continuing Education Public Service Platform" 30 working days after the training concludes. The training is free of charge, and lunch will be provided during the session. Accommodation and round-trip transportation costs are to be borne by the participants themselves.
