Multiple Android users recently reported that the Meituan app was deleting content from their local phone galleries in batches without authorization. In response, Meituan's customer service stated that a fault in a third-party plugin caused the issue to occur with a low probability. The company has now urgently fixed the problem. Users are advised to check their gallery's "Recycle Bin" or "Recently Deleted" folder. If the photos are still present there, they can attempt to restore them by clicking "Recover."
