The pre-market jump came after the semiconductor equipment maker reported fiscal fourth-quarter results that comprehensively beat market expectations. Adjusted earnings per share reached $1.82, surpassing the $1.68 consensus, while revenue hit an all-time high of $6.722 billion. Gross margin improved to 51.7% from 49.8%, and operating margin expanded to 37.4% from 35.0%. More importantly, next-quarter guidance far exceeded analyst forecasts, with projected revenue of $7.7 billion to $8.5 billion versus the $7.11 billion estimate, and EPS guidance of $2.00 to $2.30, well above the $1.84 consensus.
