Located in southwest China and adjacent to South and Southeast Asia, Yunnan Province has become a widely favored tourism and residential destination thanks to its unique climate advantages and rich and diverse tourism resources. During the holiday period, Kunming Changshui International Airport, located in the provincial capital Kunming, handled 6,802 aircraft takeoffs and landings, with passenger throughput exceeding 1.02 million and cargo and mail throughput reaching over 6,757 tonnes.

Airports in Pu'er, Mangshi, Baoshan, Dali, Zhaotong, and Diqing all maintained double-digit growth in both aircraft takeoffs and landings and passenger throughput. In terms of source markets, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hangzhou ranked as the top three sources of passengers from outside Yunnan Province.

The intra-provincial connecting flight network continued to link cultural and tourism resources, with core routes such as Xishuangbanna–Lijiang and Dali–Xishuangbanna effectively connecting tourism destinations in western and southern Yunnan, supporting the "multi-stop single journey" tourism market.

During the National Day holiday, airports and service support units across Yunnan Province set up a total of 76 fixed volunteer service points, with more than 1,000 young volunteers on duty, providing warm services including inquiry guidance, order maintenance, luggage assistance, and full-process assistance for key passengers.
