According to a research report by CLSA, Macau's gross gaming revenue in February increased by 4.5% year-on-year to MOP 20.6 billion. This figure exceeded the previously downward-adjusted market forecast by 1%, but fell short of the bank's expectation of 7.4%. Although gaming revenue was weak between February 16 and 18, the data showed a strong finish to the month. Daily average gross gaming revenue from February 23 to 28 reached MOP 1.053 billion, indicating a solid start to March. The bank projects that Macau's gross gaming revenue in March will grow by 9.7% year-on-year to MOP 21.6 billion, equivalent to a daily average of MOP 696 million.
