DAMAI ENT (01060) rose more than 6% following a positive profit alert. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.32% to HKD 0.99, with a turnover of HKD 50.54 million.

On November 6, DAMAI ENT announced that it expects attributable net profit for the six months ending September 30, 2025, to reach no less than RMB 500 million, compared to RMB 337 million in the same period last year.

The increase in net profit is primarily attributed to the strong performance of its Aliyu business, which saw robust year-on-year growth in both revenue and profit. Additionally, the group has optimized its asset structure, further reducing investment portfolio risk exposure and narrowing investment losses compared to the previous year.

With ample cash reserves, DAMAI ENT plans to diversify its investments in the entertainment industry. Over the medium to long term, the company anticipates sustained and healthy growth in its core business operations.
